THIS. God I wish I had been alive for this era- you could still smoke on the trading floor (or dealing room, if you prefer), the terminals, the optimism- this was the City (and Wall Street for that matter) in its absolutely gilded age. There was little pretension, you produced, and were paid for it. Half the people didn’t even go to college for god’s sake- really great stuff. And of course, the little 3 series Richard has there has always been a favorite.
